Boyer's Annual Hockey Day

Boyer Auto Group first launched the now Annual Hockey Day event in 2015. Aimed to support the local hockey community, Boyer Hockey Day is a completely free event open to children aged 5-12. Each event is coached by Toronto Maple Leaf Alumni and Boyer Team Member Rob Pearson. Each day is broken into 1-hour sessions by age and skill level. Players and Goalies experience skill-building exercises, drills and a mini-game.

After each session, Rob Pearson meets with each child - posing for photographs, signing autographs and lending some words of encouragment.

Each year features a new Boyer-Branded gift for the children as well. In the past there have been water bottles, skate towels, touques, mini sticks and more!

Over the years, Boyer Hockey Day has hosted events in Pickering, Lindsay, Cobourg, Bobcaygeon and Bancroft - hosting hundreds of children every year. It is our hope that this annual event helps build the game of hockey in our communities and helps to keep it alive and accessible - getting more people out on the ice.

Byer Auto Group was founded in 1981 by Michael Boyer in the small town of Apsley, Ontario. since it's inception, supporting Local Minor Hockey has been an important part of the buiness for Boyer Auto Group and our staff.
